This remarkable new one-man show re-enacts the gospel of Mark with humour and raw emotion. The direct words of Mark’s gospel come to life through Lloyd’s formidable acting and the lighting, music and sound effects. And the drama unfolds in a powerful contemporary setting.

Inspired by Terry Waite’s book Taken on Trust, the production portrays Mark’s gospel through the experience of a someone held hostage for his faith, fighting for his sanity… What do you do to prevent your mind being TAKEN?

TAKEN takes place in two acts of about 55 minutes each half. Suitable for any age-group and for church regulars and newcomers, you can host TAKEN for your whole church;

TAKEN is a versatile show that has elicited standing ovations from audiences in theatres, churches, conference centre and open-air venues. Lloyd brings the whole show with him – production team, lighting, set and props. The venue will need plug points and good visibility towards the back.
